Once again this January we are doing the #pintforapint campaign to encourage blood donations to the Oak Street Clinic. We first did this campaign three years ago when our friend’s young daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia. Blood is always needed and we hoped to encourage more first time donors to help. Unfortunately some individuals are unable to donate blood, due to government policies out of our control, and are not able to take advantage of this promotion. We hope that these barriers are removed in the near future but we trust that you understand there are no barriers to the lives donated blood can save.
To participate you must come to one of our locations starting January 1st (Cambie, Kits or UBC) to pickup a card (while supplies last) before you go to the Oak Street Clinic. When you donate blood at the clinic, a volunteer will stamp your card and you can then redeem it on January 31st at one of our shops for a free pint of ice cream!
